I have always heard that a line is a line - it doesn't matter how dark or light it is. Different tests can read differently. I know people who've used several different tests and got a dark positive on one and a faint line on another.
I think if you saw a heartbeat, you're doing great! Congrats! :)
Three pee sticks came up light but clearly positive for me. I'm 25 weeks and change now. Like the previous commenter mentioned a positive is a positive really. :) Congrats!
It doesn't matter how light or dark the line is. A line is a line...buuuuut be careful with blue-dye tests because they tend to leave dark evaporation lines that could easily be mistaken as a positive (I know because it happened to me, and apparently there are a lot of women out there who have had the same experience and are trying ban blue-line tests)...but since there was a heart beat, you're definitely pregnant! Congratulations!
P.S. I had brown spotting at 10 weeks (much to my dismay because my previous pregnancy ended in miscarriage) but my son is now 13 months old, and other than the spotting, I had a completely uneventful pregnancy...in a good way. :)
not all pee sticks are created equal. The ones at the doctor's office are actually less sensitive than store bought ones. And then even with that there's variation within brands.
