I hope you all can help me with what is (probably) a simple question.
Can you have Braxton Hicks without feeling them in the second trimester? I'm at 21 weeks. I often feel that my belly is very hard if I touch it with my fingers, yet I frequently don't feel anything in my actual abdomen.
I know you should pay attention and call your care provider if contractions go over a certain number an hour (I usually read 4 or 6.) How do I know if I'm having more contractions than that without constantly poking my belly and trying to figure out if the current hardness counts as a contraction?
