i have a question that belongs with the one below me. i know everyone says that dilation and effacement mean nothing for when the babys gonna come, but does that change if your having a lot of contractions? i'm currently 35-36w (we're not 100% on my due date. based on when i conceived i'm 36w+ but based on first ultrasound i'm 35w+ but i was also really sick and not gaining anything at the start of my pregnancy so i think the 36w+ is more accurate) and on monday i was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. they hooked me up to the monitor last week because i was having backpain and it turns out that i was having contractions every 5-10 minutes, but they werent constant enough to be real labor. i've had contractions every night since about 24w and recently they've gotten worse and more intense. i'm just wondering if all theese contractions PLUS the dilation and effacement means hes gonna come early?

oh and also, when can i start EPO? its my birthday this saturday and i plan on speniding some of my birthday money at wholefoods for RLL, EPO, and some bottom balm :)

dilation/effacement, braxton hicks, contractions
