Hello,
I'm curious as to how our money situation is going to change once Edward gets here. My husband is in the Air Force, and we don't have much in the way of debt. Just a deferred student loan, which is not much at all. We've already got a couple thousand saved away, but have yet to buy all our baby gear. At the moment I'm working full-time for minimum wage at the BX (military department store), and am only working until right before the baby is born.
I also plan on studying for medical transcription so I can work from home. I'm not expecting a sudden influx of income, but I know I've got the ambition to make some decent money from it. I'm still a little afraid to let go of the $3,500 tuition it requires, though... Eeph!
We're cloth diapering, aren't big-spenders in the first place, but I'm still looking for ways to cut back or find savings.
For those of you who have a SAHP in the family, how did you make that transition? Do you have any creative ideas for saving money?
Thanks for reading, I appreciate it!
