I had a feeling my son might be lying posterior, because I can see his little bum poking out just above my belly button. My midwife confirmed it today. She suggested a few positions I should sit and lie in to help. I've also decided to crawl around on my hands and knees for at least 25 minutes a day to see if that helps. I have chronic back pain so this is really difficult for me to do, but I figure it's better for it to hurt now than to have any more pain in my back during labor than I'm already going to have.
I guess I just want to hear a few success stories about posterior babies that flipped over. Has anyone had this spontaneously happen? Or has anyone used some of the methods I've read about on the internet to try and coax their baby to flip and had any success? My midwife said there is plenty of time for him to turn, but I can't help but feel a little panicked and I would feel a lot better if I could try and coax him to flip over before he gets too big or his head gets any lower.
