just wondering...
hey ladies... i have a few questions.
1)i was wondering if it is safe to work in a veterinary clinic while pregnant? i'd be answering phones and working at the desk only. i would think it's safe, other than when the floors etc are cleaned... i love animals & this would be good for me since i wouldn't have to do much physical labor.
2)i am 14 1/2 weeks and i have an ultrasound + birth defect bloodwork tomorrow. is it possible to tell the gender that early? i've been waiting for another ultrasound since 7 wks, it's frustrating!!!
3)at my last appointment, my doctor said that my pap came back with abnormal cells possibly leading to HPV. i was caught off guard because i was JUST tested and had a pap august 08, and everything came back normal & i was with the same guy for 2 yrs. i have slept with ONE guy since my ex, this last november, and that is when i got pregnant. and he is worried that i gave it to him?! wtf? he gave it to ME! (if i do have HPV)
they are doing a colocscopy (sp?) on march 24th. i am sure it is safe but if i do have HPV will my pregnancy be considered at risk? can the procedure efface the cervix or anything slightly dangerous? do i have the option to wait until after pregnancy for this procedure?
