Two questions but I guess I'm mostly looking for reassurance. (I put as many tags as I thought applied - sorry if I missed any, mods.) One of them just had a similar question posted but my situation is slightly different, and hey...I'm a paranoid prego ( Read more... )

I concieved via IUI on clomid and follistim with an RE, so I've had
plenty of U/S as well. I'm also high risk, so there are more to come.

I've felt movement from about 18 or so weeks, just little flutters
here and there, but now, at 25w (tomorrow, yay!) it's pretty clear
which is baby and which is gas, lol.

He'll be active some in the am, then quiet down, pick back up some
in the aft, quiet again, and usually a heavy metal party around 11pm.
Some days I get sessions of really strong kicks, and then a couple
days will be only flutters again. Sometimes he'll move a few times,
then get still for hours.

Also, sometimes I wake up after a nap or something and he's moving.
It's not the moving that wakes me though, just the end of my nap.
So I figure (and have read) that he's probably active while I'm
sleeping and I never know it! So he could be wearing his tiny self
out in there during my sleep, and crashing during my waking time.
(shades of things to come? Methinks so, lol)

So I wouldn't worry too much about the chillin' babe. I think it's
fine and normal. Also, my babes heartrate has been, in pretty much
correct order, 167, 154, 147, 135, 142, 153. So it varies, and anything
(I believe) b/t 120 and 170 is normal. It will fluctuate depending on
the time of day, baby activity, your activity, ect.

You might try drinking some OJ about a half hour or so b/f the next u/s,
that usually shakes'em up pretty good, I've heard!
