Does anyone else agree with me when I say that it takes way too long to get situated in America? Oof, all of that paperwork has given my fingers cramps that I still have today.
I think I've come to America at an odd time, because the taxi-wallah was playing silly music on the radio as he drove me to my new apartment, but I didn't request for a change because it was amusing, I found. Where could I get hold of this Mister Kris Kringle? It seems he shares an important day with Pakistan's founder, December 25th that is, except that Mohammad Ali Jinnah (may he rest in peace) doesn't give things away, nor do we make offerings of cookies and milk. How much nonsense... But interesting nonsense.
I'm alone now, though, and preparing some sugar cookies sounds fun~ If there's no Kringle, can I simply give them away to my neighbors instead?
