I just wanted to mention... Ichika can be good at making curry but not sweets. The reason being that cooking is different from baking. Yes, they both have ingredients and have to be measured, but they are done differently. Also Ichika's father could have shown her how, or done so with her when she was younger. Baking she would've done with her mom, but as is introduced in the very beginning of this series her mom isn't around much, so she probably has to bake on her own most of the time. Her father might not bake as often, though I believe in the one episode a while back with the sweets festival or what not they did go to it together. I can't recall if they had a stand or not, but I don't think they did. Pretty sure they just went to eat the sweets.... So her father might not bake himself, just her mom. Thus she would've learned to cook, but not to bake.
All of your other flaws with the episode make sense though (haha) ... Though Pikario not being dead is sort of awkward but ... I thought I saw his kiraru floating into the mountain with the previous episode so I dunno, I kinda had a feeling he wasn't dead. I'm glad he's not, and I do like his Rio character. I wonder if he wakes up before the series reaches the end point, if he will have to actually learn how to turn into a human or if he will still know? I think it would be better if he had to relearn, and then Ciel would help him with that. If they did so, it would be a better way to make up for what she did, rather than her getting upset and the her brother basically has to save her(?) I mean the girls didn't really do anything wrong, but I don't feel like his apology was really completed there sooo....
Anyway, yeah, I'm glad Pikario can be alive, and I hope he does awaken before the series end point. Not sure if they actually have to collect kiraru for him though? That wasn't really mentioned at all, if anything possibly hinted at.
Hm, was there anything else? Ah yeah, the opening sucked. Honestly I think even the fresh precure opening was better than this one... I wanted to see some new transitions! They also kept Julio in the opening though... I can't tell if this is laziness, or if Julio is going to (yet again) make another return.... probably laziness...
At least I can't wait for next weeks episode! Akira and Yukari... Yukari's gotta be my favourite out of all the precure this season despite her being in the background a lot of the time.
