I might be buying a building in North East Minneapolis, not too far from Modern Cafe. Anyone looking for an apartment to rent? I'm thinking $400 for the basement studio which is about 600 Sq. Ft. and $800 for the main 2BR unit that's 1100 Sq. Ft. Utilities not included. I really LOVE the building itself. Its nice brick, in a great location.

What do you want to know? Cats would be okay but no dogs. The apartment is one block from University and one block from Broadway. Its a block from the bus (route 18). The 2BR has a new appliances (including dishwasher) in the kitchen. There's garage space for 1 car. If I buy the place I'll post pictures in the next couple of days.

that sounds like an awesome location - i'm looking for a place for just myself... i'm a student at the U and having that close access to the bus is an extra perk.

i'd have a car, but a garage isn't necessarily needed - if there is street parking or space next to the garage, etc. that would be just fine.

just keep me posted! and i don't want to be competing for it with anyone so if the above ladies are really interested, it's fine.

Are you looking for a studio or 2BR? Sheridan seems better maintained then some of the north east areas we've been looking at. It's still close enough to everything. Right now I'm a 25 block walk to work downtown and I think it's about the same distance.
