Hiya!!
Hello! I have decided to write, even though I dont have much to write about. This weekend was good, Liz and I went on a giant shopping excurison which was alot of fun. We went to Macy's and a whole bunch of other places. Then we used all of the things we bought and got dressed up and went to a "rave". As it turns out, it wasnt a real rave, but alot of people showed up from the general public and thought it was a rave (though go figure - how real could it be if its held at a school?). Anyway, we only actually went in for 20 minutes of so, but we spent a couple hours hanging outside and talking with a bunch of friends, it was pretty cool.
I made a new chemistry friend, her name is Kayla. She is really nice, we have alot in common. As it turns out, I think I gravitate towards people who are better at french than I am, becuase Kayla is in French D, which is a year and a half of college french, and shes a freshman like me. It motivates me to take french again...
Also, I got my chem test back: I got a B. I know its lower than I was expecting (I missed two problems) but i'm still euphoric for some reason. I feel like I really understand the material.
I went to RIMAC tonight, which is the main gym on campus. I am going to try and go daily, instead of running in the morning, becuase in the mornings it has become dark and scary. So Monday Wednesday and Friday I will go straight after chemistry, and Tuesday and Thursday I will go before dance. I did 2 miles on the elliptical, and 10 minutes on the bike, which is pretty good. Katy is going to be meeting me most days, and then we are going to conquer the free weights room. I say conquer, becuase its tres intimidating. Lots of burly boys...
Oh, excitement of all excitement: Uncle John bought me a heater. ITs a tiny little heater fan for the corner of my room, its so cute and it wil keep me warm. I am so pleased, I am currently testing it out, so I am nice and toasty. It has its oun thermostat, so I set it and it come on automatically when the temperature drops below a certain point. No more cold toes! Squeee!!!
Now I have to go, becuase I have to figure out my classes for next quarter. And I should really do math homework (yuck!!). TTFN!
