Lunch at Capote's

Oct 19, 2005 00:16

Here's a comic for Truman Capote. I read Breakfast At Tiffany's over the weekend, but wasn't able to finish it until my lunch today. I ate it at the Water Tower, and it really was reheated fried chicken.

I'm getting an idea of just how much catch-up I have to play at my job. Word is it's not too crazy once everything's caught up, but catching everything up might take a while.

But I'm tired. James Salter tomorrow? Maybe more Capote. I feel like I didn't show enough of him, plus I think I like the look of the young Capote better. He never even called me "darling," I mean, what the hell already?

Thanks so much to all you kids for being so supportive of the Proust stuff. Sorry I've been lagging on my personal correspondences, I'm trying to figure out how to manage my half of the day that isn't in the office.
