Ah, um... hello, everyone! This is Shirley. Er, well... today, I was baking some jam tarts for the house and, well... I got my measurements wrong. To save my dough, I decided to just enlarge the batch and I ended up making much more than what I had originally planned...
So, er. Would anyone like some tarts? I have strawberry, apple, and lemon flavored ones so far... I plan on making cherry, peach, and grape next.

[She sets the journal down, to call over her shoulder:] -- ... Fenimore, those just came out of the oven! They're too hot!...

[Shirley is in the kitchen of House #34, the sleeves of her blouses rolled up to her elbows and her hair pinned up out of the way of her baking. The counters are littered with tarts. So many tarts. The kitchen table seems to be her main workstation for creating the tarts, as there's a very large bowl covered with a cloth on it, which holds the dough, and there's a line of jam jars behind it.
... she really wasn't kidding when she said she made way too much dough. Nevertheless, she seems to be in a good enough mood.
Note: this post is taking place sometime on the early afternoon of the 17th excuse the munfail, 18th. It's been posted now because I have work this time tomorrow, and I wanted to get a fourth wall post up sooner rather than later.
