Battle Royale - The Movie
Wow. I jsut watched an insanely fucked up movie at Peters called Battle Royale. The premise is, that a 9th grade class is abducted and put on an island with collars around their necks. They are given weapons and expected to kill each other in 3 days, until one person is lef. If there is more than one survivor, then all the collars blow up.
I cannot describe how chilling that movie was. Sufise is to say that when me and Peter were walking to the U-Bahn (Peter on his bike), a truck came hurtling towards Peter who was ahead of me - and I was suprised to see it stop. I fully expected the driver to ram full force into Peter, because after watching that movie, you come to look at that kind of violence as standard.
On another note, its also a little disturbing that I found the pathological girl, who was happy that she could go around killing people, hot. When I mentioned it, both Basti and Peter gave me strange looks, so maybe its just an Indian thing.
Overall, I do not recomend the movie unless you are ready for some serious violence and are not capable of having nightmares.
