Students from the Saceda Youth Lead School Visited ASEF
On 28 August 2019, ASEF received a delegation of students from Annual Leadership Development Program, Saceda Youth Lead (SYL) School. The purpose of the students’ visit was to learn about decision-making practices and managing diversities in the ASEAN regions.
The students were welcomed by ASEF Deputy Executive Director Mr SUN Xiangyang. Representatives from Programme Departments also took turns to brief the students on ASEF’s work in the following 7 themes, Culture, Education, Governance, Economy, Sustainable Development, Public Health and Media.
The students, who are between 16-19 years old, demonstrated keen interest in the topic of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and shared their thoughts on some of the SDGs.
