The woman I've thought of as my grandma for the last 17 years died yesterday at 12:20 PM. She was no relation really, but she was almost my grandmother-in-law at one time. Thelma Jane Hill was 94 years old, had fought Alzheimer's for the last 15 years and had suffered a couple of strokes, a broken hip and heart problems. I got to spend Thanksgiving ( Read more... )

I'll be praying for you and BJ. Sounds like you've got a decent handle on things, though. I lost my great-aunt a couple of years ago at age 94 after about the same time living with Alzheimer's. I feel your pain...
