Last night's conversation with Andrew started with Training Grants at Northwestern University and ended two hours later with discussions on why I hated AP US History at St. Mark's. And in between, such included, but not limited to (and in no specific order): MD/PhD programs at NU, biology in general, specific biology topics, girls, the numbers song in Sesame Street (the one where that pinball bounces around and hits random numbers between 1 and 12, and all the while this psychedelic music and animation is playing), how crayons are made (Sesame Street style), the "War on Terror," the Iraq war, the crisis in the Middle East, the meaning of life, more girls, stem cells, the uselessness of history, how to "get the best of both worlds" (in terms of girls from North and South Chicago)
Anyway, as you can see, it was quite a conversation, and there is probably a lot more to be added to the list (Andrew, feel free to comment anything else I've left out). Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about continuing my previous post, but I need to start writing down things that I find worthy before I forget and have to end up writing a super long generic post many months later.
