Car Stuff
Well, that was fruitful. I finally acquired a Haynes manual for the car this morning, from the shop on the end of the road, £7.50. Bargain.
So I've taken the tailgate to bits, and finally discovered why my rear wiper doesn't work.
There's no motor.
Yup. I found a motor in bits tucked away in one of the boot area pockets a while back. My best guess is that in the car's past someone removed it because it failed, and never refitted one. Now I'm hunting down a new or second hand motor. One email's gone already, which will hopefully be productive.
Next up, a quick clean of the bumpers. I've got some "make your bumpers and trim go back to their original shiny black" stuff to try out. I hope that's worth it.
