Today should be good. After I dry my hair, I'm going down to Pelham Parkway to do some shopping, hopefully get some new jeans (if not on Pelham, I'll go to Old Navy in Bay Plaza), lunch with the boy, then off to Manhattan to pick up his comics, and back again to pick up the kid. And later in the evening, the boy and I are going to pick up something for the kid.
Cryptic much? Haha.
So, this band, Nightmare of You... I first heard a song of theirs back in May, when I made a playlist of love songs. A song called Marry Me. I really liked the vocals - vocals and lyrics are what usually suck me into liking a band, which makes it real easy for me to like all sorts of genres - but I didn't know where to get any other songs, much less albums. (Despite being very crafty on the net - perhaps I just didn't want to bother. Whatever the case...) I got my hands on their self-titled album and oh mah gahhw I love it. Love it. Again, vocals. The guy's vocals are amazing, in my opinion. Sometimes they remind me of The Decemberists' vocals.
So I'm going to dry my hair and head off to Pelham. I need to stop by T-Mobile, as well. My Sidekick's 8 button sticks at the most inconvenient times. I want to see about getting it fixed. I bought the equipment protection so hopefully something can be done. ♥ Wish me luck?
