Sherlock(ed) Finally

Ok, finally my post about the Sherlock convention coming up April 24-26. Yes, I'm going. Yes, I paid a fortune for the ticket. Did I do it for Benedict Cumberbatch? Well, maybe a little but I mostly did it for the whole experience. An entire convention dedicated to Sherlock? Yeah, that's my idea of heaven. I've loved Sherlock Holmes and John Watson since I was quite young. My brother and I used to read them and it was a way for us to spend time together where we didn't fight. Sure, the mysteries were fun, but the interworkings between Holmes and Watson were what was great. I always thought poor John got the short end of the stick though and I think that's transferred into all the stories I've written. I really do whump poor John terribly. But back to the con...almost everyone will be there. That is except Martin, but he'll be filming that Midnight of My Life project for the next few weeks so I can't really fault him for that now can I?? No show for Amanda as well. Not sure why there other than Martin is working so maybe she'll be doing something with the kids?? I'm not too fussed about it, the rest of the gang will be there. With my pass I get basically EVERYTHING except an in person autograph from the 'lead'guest(Mark Gatiss and Benedict)They're going to have this really cool John Watson exhibit as well explaining about his childhood through to when he meets Sherlock. Pictures, parties, panels...it promises to be a very Sherlock(y) weekend. I really lucked out getting a place to stay right next to the ExCel center too. As you can tell, I'm super excited and can't wait to get some more info to write more fic. I'll most definitely post pics and give a full write up once it's all said and done.
