2440: Elf: A Story of Discovery - Lympie/Lily
Don't forget about Tropes Sue Week either. I'm looking for help finding entries for said week. I'm also looking for some feedback on this.

SPECIES: A House Elf who isn't one...
HAIR: “black, tumbleweed hair” or “a mass of black hair”
EYES: “striking emerald eyes”
MARKINGS: “porcelain skin, pale as death”
POSSESSIONS: L has a letter. (No … not a Death Note.)
CONNECTION TO CANON: The story starts off with a bit about the House Elves society and how one is leaving Hogwarts because he replacement was trained. Harry comes running up to Minerva asking where Hermione is. We then find out Lympie is actually a “miss” and the grand-daughter of Minerva and the eight year old suddenly becomes human again. Lily finds Hermione and has her help her find McGonagall. (This is what I got from the rewrite - I got nothing from the reviews so I'm assuming the story was just as chaotic plot wise.)
ORIGIN: The writer started the story when they were twelve, but came back to rewrite their story. I'd also like to note the reason Minerva and Hermione are being paired together is because of a poll the writer created. I'm honestly wondering if someone didn't troll the writer.
SPECIAL ABILITIES: As one of the readers pointed out Harry could use the Marauders map, so the writer tries solving the problem by having Harry's map destroyed during the battle. On one side I'm glad the writer tried finding a solution, but I honestly don't see how the map could have ended up destroyed in the first place.
NOTES: “Hey guys! This is under construction, so yes, I have just deleted every chapter. I was going to delete the whole story and start fresh but I didn't want to lose all of your wonderful reviews! Thank you to everyone who's pushed me to keep the story going! […] I began writing this story when I was 12, yes, 12, and my writing skills have improved immensely since then. Some of the tangents of the plot were to complex, others not complex enough, some just completely unnecessary.” As the story was published December 20, 2013 the writer is at least fourteen now.
The writer goes by Lil, and on her profile she says “My MMAD addiction went on for an entire six months before I realized that Minerva McGonagall was bisexual and Dumbledore was gay (even then, it went on for another month…).” I get the part about Dumbledore, but haven't a clue where she got the other part.

"Lonnie, I here to be receiving my Masters name," said Lympie, bowing her head in respect.
"Lympie be having Transfiguration Miss."
"Miss?" asked Lympie.
"Yes. The Miss of Hogwarts."
"I's is very happy. I's ready to serve."
"I am" corrected Lonnie gently. Years ago, Lonnie had begun to correct Lympie's grammar, and the young elf still had no idea why. "Now, go see Mypo. Mypo will get you ready."
"Oh yes, I's- I will go find Mypo. I will serve my new Miss tonight."
Then she darted off, locating Mypo at in the Trasfiguration Mistresses' room. "I'is here. Mypo be teaching me about new Miss?" asked Lympie.
"Yes. You be cleaning Misses clothes once a week. Lympie must always have a biscuits ready for miss, and a pot of Earl Grey tea. No milk or sugar. Lympie must never touch what is on Misses desk, and Miss should only see Lympie when she wants to. Lympie clean everything at night, but never Misses desk. Lympie cleaning Misses office and classroom, but Lympie never touch Misses desk. Never," repeated Mypo, stressing the point.
I understand what to do now. I is good house elf," said Lympie, eagerly nodding.
"Good. Mypo is leaving after the feast. Mypo show Lympie to Miss, then Mypo ask for clothes."
Lympie nodded. "Yes, Mypo show me's to Miss, then Mypo ask for clothes."
Headmistress McGonagall entered her rooms and removed her glasses immediately, flicking her wand to put down her hair. She was surprised when Mypo arrived in front of her. She usually didn't see the house elf. "Mypo is going to leave Hogwarts. Does Miss want to meet her new elf, Lympie?"
