to the previous comment " Its called a new take, self expression, unique point of view imagination." why cant Luna be fae do you own her, can someone not do something different without your narrow minded input to hate. The whole point of fanfiction is to express what your take on the story could be like, to have some fun to use your imagination, get some experience with writing, there is no wrong or right just what some may like and may not like and if you don't like it guess what you don't have to keep reading dumdum.

No, it's not "a new take, self expression, unique point of view imagination". Not only is the concept overdone, the work does not take any concept and look at it in a critical manner, but we've also got the problem that "self expression" and a personal "take on the story" are never shields from critique, but loses it's purpose if critique does not occur ( ... )

(I'm a different anonymous)

I'd also like to add to what Pottersues said and point out that FFNet's policy states: "Respect the reviewers. Not all reviews will strictly praise the work. If someone rightfully criticizes a portion of the writing, take it as a compliment that the reviewer has opted to spend his/her valuable time to help improve your writing."

I find it hilarious that the words self-expression, unique point of view, imagination, and narrow mindedness are mentioned. First off, this journal and its critiques are a form of self-expression, unique point of view, and imagination. You cannot critique without doing all three. Secondly, those who cannot take critique have to right to call others narrow minded.

Egads, no. If you want to write original fiction, then go and write original fiction. Self expression in fanfic doesn't cover butchering another person's characters to twist them into your personal wish fulfillment. This isn't to say Luna couldn't be Fae, but in a fandom where Fae don't even exist - Naruto? Or only to make her super amazing. No.
