This fic makes ME want to commit suicide... :P

Harry suffered much worse at Voldey's hands and under the Dursleys with far less ill-consequences: Nothing worse than an occasional temper outburst, and occasional feelings of inadequacy, and a healthy disrespect of bullying gits and self-appointed authority figures - not entirely unlike my own personal life experience actually, so I know this aspect of Harry quite well.

It doesn't make sense on any level. Harry and Snape and everyone else is far too OOC for this to work for me at all

The toxic rating is well deserved.

PS: Honestly, how does stuff like this get 472 faves since July 22nd? :P

Oh... right! Promise people Lemony Potterporn and Slash, and they don't care how rubbish the characterisations are... :P

It's not just slash/porn that gets this many reviews. It is anything that hits a fetish that is popular. The works can be both bad or good, but poorly written stuff tends to lean towards the rabid fetishes.

Having Ron and Hermione turn their backs on him is bad enough, but do you honestly expect me to believe Oliver Wood would kick his prize Seeker off the team, just because he's Snape's son? I mean, that's just silly.

Honestly, the whole familial blood potion is A) blatantly convenient and B) completely ridiculous. I mean, teaching a potion like that in class is going to humiliate people and break homes sooner or later. It's a numbers game.

Also, they didn't know Snape was a Death Eater at this point. They didn't figure that out until GoF, and even Ron was shocked.

The whole thing is "blatantly convenient".

I had to step away from the computer and take several deep breaths before typing this. What is happening to this universe?
I just finished reading (well, reading if you call it writing) My Immortal, the only known story that is SO HORRIBLE it has become famous! I am... UGH. This pissed me off. UGH. WHY. WHY DOES THE INTERNET DO THIS.
