3322: Misapprition - artemisgirl
fanfic contest Please don't ask how I found the link of the day. I'm not entirely sure myself, but I don't agree with the article. The comments are as amusing as the article. Each era... no... year... is going to have it's good and it's bad.

SUMMARY:”Hermione keeps apparating to land on top of an amused Aidan Lynch. But Hermione's known how to apparate for years! Is an odd quirk of Veela blood what's actually causing the problem? Or is it just a malicious spell?”

CONNECTION TO CANON: The first time she apparated she lands in the man's lap. The next time she apparates onto his lap “it'll be a date”. The next time it is in Flourish and Botts, the third time while he's on his broom... lap again. It was his back ad the book store. She then apparates all the way to Ireland the forth time. “Her middle fluttered with butterflies.” There are a ton of more incidents ike this. One time she appears during a match and Ireland catches the Snitch and it's considered “fair” because Hermione didn't end up distracing their side, but Belgium doesn't get to complain because only Lynch and his team can be negitavly effected by this sudden surprise. We find out later the same thing happened to Draco and Cho because Draco was part Veela. Lynch is og course mooning off her. Krum tells him about her Veela blood. Eventually they realize they are soul mates and kiss.
ORIGIN: Not sure...
SPECIAL ABILITIES: *sigh* Should be apparent. Draco though is OoC... or mentioned to be OoC, going around claiming to be Vella publicly when he prided himself in being a Pureblood. Ron says that she can't be part Veela because “Veela are known for being gorgeous girls”. (Try the fact she is supposed to be Muggleborn._
NOTES: At least it isn't as bad as dying if you don't mate with your mate.
I found this in the reviews. “I loved the idea of her misapparating because he was her mate! And the way he talked, I bet she was charmed by that, I know I was :D”
This also said... I thought about giving this the awful rating, but the story is over all bland Sue wise except for that, so I went with the bad rating instead.

Three days later, it happened again.
"Aauugh!"
"I am so sorry! I've no idea what-"
Hermione's babbling apologies trailed off as she recognized the reddish-blond curls of the man whose back she had landed on, knocking him to the ground.
"-Aidan?"
"Yeah?"
Hermione flushed.
"I do apologize. I seem to have Apparated right onto you once more."
Aidan laughed, his body quivering against the ground.
"If you get off me back, mayhap I can see you too."
"Oh! Right!"
Embarrassed, Hermione quickly rolled off and stood, watching as Aidan turned over and got up as well. He stretched, cracking his back, before giving her an amused look.
"Hermione, right? This isn't becoming a habit, is it?"
"This one might be a coincidence," Hermione said, offering him a smile. "This is Flourish and Blott's, isn't it?"
"You were aiming for here?" Aidan laughed. "The Apparition point's two shelves over, so I suppose that's not that bad."
Hermione frowned. "I've been able to Apparate flawlessly for years, though. There's no reason I should muck it up now."
