Yeah, because the woman who would rather die than abandon her son would totally be neglectful if he wasn't "The Boy Who Lived". For that matter, why are they so sure his twin is the Boy Who Lived? Why would you assume that the kid who only got scarred by the killing curse couldn't possibly be the one who somehow (since Lily didn't die) defeated Voldemort? And given that James and Lily are both alive and healthy, there's no one who died, so why would anyone come up with the moniker "the Boy Who Lived" in the first place?
The list of friends by full name with an AKA for each one is painful and forced, and why the hell is Harry engaged to Ginny? You can stop to tell us how Draco's new backstory is a carbon copy of Harry's new backstory, but can't be bothered to tell us why a thirteen-year-old boy is engaged?
Hell, of what little backstory we get, none of it makes sense. We're told that Hermione's a Zabini, and Draco's wearing leather pants, but we're not told why. They fought Death Eaters, but even if the Death Eaters hadn't been disbanded, what were they doing at Beauxbatons? Why were they sent to Azkaban, instead of a French prison? Why was Greyback in France? For that matter, why are the Weasleys and Zabinis in France?
And none of that justifies lifting the age limit for the tournament.
Oh, and apparently Barty Crouch Jr., despite interrogating Moody so he could imitate him flawlessly, somehow missed that Moody had been training a bunch of kids just last year. ::rolls eyes::
