Just letting you know that you have something else to add to your clean up, Pottersues. The mark up of this one is wonky ;)

The story itself would have an interesting premise to it if the author gave it more thought. Harry growing up with one or both parents is something that I love to see in a Harry Potter fanfiction as long as you explain how Lily and James survived Voldemort... or at the very least the prophesy itself for the time being. I mean, if Voldemort didn't get the Potters surely the war would have still been going on until Voldemort got to them and to their son.

Also why on earth would James move Harry to France? I know that it is completely within his rights to move to any country if he so chooses, but seriously? The move seems completely random and as such is absolutely pointless. Did James move to France to get away from the prophesy and keep his beloved son safe? Did he move to France to start a new life without Lily? Or did he just move to France for the job of teaching? All three could be factors for why James moved, but the author fails to tell us why.

Now as for the divorce. The way Harry talks about it makes me believe that he doesn't have any affection for his mother. Then James turned around and made it clear that Lily has moved on and that should be the end of it. Well where is she and what happened to her? Why isn't she in Harry's life?

Also... what is it with changing Harry's name like that? It is like turning around and changing his identity. Of course this could be somebody who is new at English who read the book in their own tongue because I know that in some countries names like Harry or James (even Potter) would be completely different in various native tongues. For example James would be Jacques in French. Harry is still Harry in our language... as is Potter- because I guess that is something a bit different. However, Potter in French typically would have been changed to Potier.

Of course I love the English version of the names. Changing that would be rather silly. Perhaps... Harrison Jamienne appears in another dialect unless the author thought that they were Frenchifying the whole name by spelling that middle name like that.

Ugh, the format of this story on that site is rather put offing as is the plot and how it is being written.
