You cut off the title and forgot the rating and species on this one.
We either have someone trying to parody My Immortal or a very young writer seeking attention and thinking that "lying" will prove something. The second is still a troll in my opinion despite the fact they aren't trying to get the negative response simply because they should know better. This one though is a troll because the author's comments are horribly outlandish to the point they should know it is obvious they are telling a lie, unlike a particular Suethor featured here who tried telling me she got fifty PMs a day asking her to update only for me to point out that hey, that can't possibly be true when she GASP has no favorites or follows.
I like how she literally did the same things My Immortal did (and I actually believe that one to have been written by a young girl who was trying to act cool) and slapped them in there: the relationship with Draco, the ridiculous names of her OC, her crappy OC, the way she talks to her readers, the fake friend she created, the love of famous teen idols, talking to the audience throughout the story, etc.
I think My Immortal was so great in part because it wasn't meant to be, and since this was, yeah..
I was going to send a review to this author, but then after I was reading for a bit and then went to the review page to check it out I decided not to. It is clear to me that this one is a troll, and that bad attention is better than getting no attention at all. I would be giving this one what she wants, and I am not going to go there.
Is this story supposed to be a high school AU? Because there is nothing remarkably similar about the Hogwarts in canon in this story whatsoever.
Then there is the fact that she deliberately misspells character names. Which leaves me rather annoyed because if you're going to troll, at least be a good one and put more effort into it.
The best bit is, she makes it obvious she's a troll. If you read some parts where Hermione, Ginny, etc are speaking, somehow they speak perfectly, for example;
"You mean," Ginny said, not fazed in the slightest "why is Maddy being such a bitch?"
"Listen, Olivia," Luna said calmly, picking up a NERDY GEEKY T shirt "we really have no business with you or your friends. So, please leave and let us fangirl."
Hermione began backing away "Besides, Olivia, I would prefer if you were to keep a distance. If I stand too close, I may catch one of your STDs."
I gapesed "U BIRCH."
Point proven. Also, she included a reference to Matt Smith. As seen in this: I saw tht Weerd luna with su.m guy shez alwayz freakin out over matt smith or something lyke tht. MATT SMITH! (Doctor Who) It's a troll.
As Professor Quirrell once said "TROLL IN THE DUNGEONS! TROLL IN THE DUNGEONS! Thought you ought to know."
