When Hermione finished reading this, she had unknowingly placed her hand over her mouth out of clear shock. And a lone tear made its way down her cheek; she still just stared at the parchment.
All three of them were, by now, clearly alarmed.
"Hermione? What's wrong what happened?" Harry grasped her shoulders shaking her a bit more than was necessary.
What she said confused and startled, them all.
In just barely a whisper, "They're coming."
"Who? Who's coming? 'Mione?" They were all clearly frightened now. Hermione had never lost her composure in public before. And it was very hard to make her cry in the slightest.
She closed her eyes and felt a vague awareness that he was watching her.
Damn you, Raeshini, you bastard!!! I'll have my revenge yet!!
Breathing hard, she stood up so suddenly, and screamed out to no one:
"RAESHINI!! GET OUT HERE YOU BASTARD!! I KNOW YOU'RE HERE!! YOU'RE A FUCKING COWARD!! I WILL KILL YOU!! DO YOU HEAR ME??!! YOU WON'T GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!"
By now, all of the students and teachers still in the dining hall had stopped whatever they were doing and were staring at her in alarm.
Ginny was the first to speak. In just barely an audible whisper, "Hermione."
She was now utterly aware of the hundreds of eyes that were lingering on her.
"Oh, Goddess.if-if you'll e-excuse me." And she backed away slowly towards the door, rushing out as fast as her legs could carry her when she reached it.
By now, all conversation had abruptly started again, but with even more chatter than before.
The three decided to talk to her later.
