5056: Mr De Vil - Mr. De Vil
Don’t forget about the first bi-annual Pottersues Contest - I’ve extended it to September 5th due to having no entries, but this is replacing the old annual Pottersues Contest. The theme for said contest is Gamer Fic. Since Gamer Fic is a rather new concept in fanfic, I’ve added links to three entries which feature a Gamer Fic. I’m also working on a list of common traits we find in Sue stories which make them Sue stories called More Than Thirteen Reasons Why.
I changed my mind about doing a week of The 100 crossovers. There are definitely plenty, yet I think that I’d end up with pretty much all the same. Next on the list is 101/102 Dalmations. Today’s entry - it is rather old, started in December of 2014.

He just got a letter from Dumbledore telling him to come to Hogwarts and later maybe become a teacher. The thing is, Mr. De Vil has a few plans of his own. Will he turn out to be very close to Harry or will he try to kill him? Find out...”

Possessions: He gives Luna a rose.
Connection to Canon: He’s the new teacher. He talks to Harry Potteri n the first chapter, gets on the train in the second and in the third - flirts with Luna Lovegood and makes her madly OoC in love with him. Well, the last part wasn’t something I expected.
Origin: His sister tore up his letter so he killed her Dalmation. So much for Cruella De Vil being cruel just because she was cruel, right?
Special Abilities: I’d say getting Luna to act like a normal, hormal teenager girl swooning over somebody is definitely a special ability. What do you think.
Notes: This - I’m going to be honet and say I wasn’t expecting this at all. The story never “got” finished, but this is the writer’s only story. Does it have something to do with the one and only review which is negative? Considering the review came about three years later, I think not.

"Dumbledore finally asked me to be a professor at Hogwarts. Well... Not yet, but I am sure he will. And what a perfect timing….", said Mr. De Vil with a slightly evil smile upon his face. He just couldn`t believe his luck. Sure, he is thirty years old, but living under his sisters shadow had never been pleasurable.
-" Fortunatley, she got caught. Oh, that woman and her stupid dalmatians. People used to admire her, and for what? For stupid coats of lesser creatures. It sickens me even now…"
He stood up and started walking around perfectly modern apartment. Everything around him was either black or white. Not only it reminded him of his older sister, but of his parents as well. His parents were both designers but they had always appreciated that classic "black and white" look.
-" I guess I appreciate it too…"
With sadness in his deep blue eyes, Mr. De Vil remembered the day he got that magnificent Hogwarts letter, the day he found out that he will be a wizard. His smile spoke for himself, for the happines in him could not be bigger. Of course, that did not last for long because Cruella was very angry. She never got hers so she took his letter and ripped it to pieces. He was devastated and very angry. Later that day, he killed her precious dalmatian. They just had that kind of a relationship.
