The writer deleted their story but updated their profile. I don't know if they got SALed because another one did or if someone left them a review. Here is the quote from their profile. I'm hoping they aren't Sal.

"When someone told me there are actual boundaries for ideas... Because I so naively belive the world of fiction is boundless, ideas are boundless..

So i'm defending myself here. Yeah, I care when someone attacks my personal, and mocks me for what I see and what I believe."

I've got to agree with Pottersues here. This idea that ideas (or imagination for that matter) is limitless is a major misconception. The misconception may stem from quotes like Einstain's where "imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we know now and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."

People take quotes there are no limits, yet the quote from Einstein proposes that imagination is still limited to what can be. Even the theory of thinking outside of the box recognizes things which can or can't be done.

This writer honestly did nothing to think outside of the box, meaning their ideas weren't pushing what we know and understand. Instead, their ideas contradicted what we know and understand such as the fact people aren't emotionless, so how can she not feel sad when about feeling sheltered when Draco is a bully to her. There's a difference between not knowing your sheltered and thus not aching for something more and not ever feeling sad. However, if her brother is bullying her we've also got the issue that her life isn't at all sheltered.

They go on to say on their profile.

"There are actually no boundaries for ideas. There are certainly no boundaries when it comes to express 'em. Only a mind's capacity is marked as boundaries. For each and every mind it is different. Where there is a limit for a singular person, to use their brain's capacity, some can only push that limit just so far."

And...

"Things are well written. Things are poorly written. That's just it."

A good writer understands that how we write is how we express ourselves. As such saying something is either well written or is poorly written is no different than saying something is either expressed well or is in fact poorly expressed. As such there are ways to express oneself well and express oneself poorly meaning one can only come to the conclusion there are boundaries when it comes to expression.

In fact, it is a poor writer who blames the fault of not being able to discern the meaning of their attempt at expressing themselves when the writer poorly expressed themselves in the first place. So yes, the writer does need to learn these boundaries, but they also need to stop pretending that writing is just as restrained by the mind's capacity as ideas are. Actually, if there are no boundaries, then how can you say that an exception is the mind's capacity? That's a clear cut contradiction.

I'm honestly not sure whether the writer used the word naively for themselves of a reviewer did, but if it is the writer I've got to say admitting you're naïve about the whole thing doesn't help your case. They talk about defending their beliefs, yet what's really going on is someone pointed out the holes in said beliefs. That's not a mocking of ones beliefs, but simply pointing out the fallacies in the belief.
