I looked up everyone that died before I read it. I'm a spoiler loving kid, I suppose ( ... )

I read an article on a chat session JKR held and it said that when the Dementors came, Dudley saw himself for who he really was and it was painful enough to light the spark in the change we saw in our brief stay at the Dursleys in Deathly Hallows.

Well, that's a bit... lame? I mean, yay for moral goodness and everything, but didn't Dudley already realize what sort of a person he was? Harry seemed to make it pretty clear in the 5th book when he insulted Dudley's character at the park, yet Dudley was proud of who he had become. Sort of.
Sorry... I ramble sometimes.

As a fellow H/Hr shipper, I was tempted to make "Ron suspects H/Hr, why shouldn't I?" icons. Honestly I think the only reason, H/Hr didn't happen was because Harry wouldn't do that to Ron.

I'm just glad Ron matured a bit before he and Hermione were "officially" together...I still don't think it's a healthy relationship. And I really wish H/G had been developed better.

James was independently wealthy, so Petunia was right that he didn't work...except for that whole freedom fighter thing.

I'd love it if you could make those icons! Seriously, show them to me once you're done. Yeah, I suppose Harry wouldn't do that to Ron but I still think H/Hr is a better ship (that's why I loved Godric's Hollow).

I agree with you there. Ron needed to grow up first and learn to appreciate Hermione more. No, that relationship can't be healthy. I mean, Ron would fall deeper into an inferiority complex and Hermione would probably just hit him and reprimand him all the time. And then there's the constant bickering! I was bit disappointed with H/G too. I mean my OTP is H/Hr but since I do ship H/G, I wanted a more satisfying vindication after HBP. There's barely any H/G moments as it is.

Yeah, I figured James might not work since he inherited but I like to imagine James and Lily doing something really cool. Maybe a backstory as to how they defied LV thrice and such.

Ever so belated and I'm not quite satisfied with it, but I finally made that icon. http://community.livejournal.com/hp_icons/6722351.html

I thought that R/Hr came out of the blue..I mean GOF hinted at it..But I don't know, it still seemed kind of sudden.

I'm trying to figure out how the heck Draco could have the wand when Dumbledore had it last. That made no sense.

I agree, the epilouge was...weak. Who the heck is cousin Victore anyways. Or however you sepll that name.

And sadly, people are pairing up Albus and Scorpius..so sad.

It might take a reread or listening to a podcast to make sense of that plot point. Once I did get it, I felt it was a bit lame. Essentially, Draco at one point did "beat/defeat" Dumbledore (the owner of the Elder Wand) and so the wand now rightfully belonged to Draco. Think back to the Lightning Struck Tower and how Draco has disarmed Dumbledore (that was the magical moment). In my opinion, diswanding someone shouldn't be the same as defeating but for the sake of comprehending JKR's storyline it is. How else would you beat an unbeatable wand?

Victoire is Fleur and Bill's daughter, in case you didn't know.

I think it's safe to say that the ASS ship is a testament to the sevre error of the existence of such an epilogue.

Ahh, that makes sense now. But it is a lame way to beat someone. Diswanding..please.

Nope, didn't know that one either. Couldn't think of what cousin they were talking about.

Yeah..but still blegh..I don't like it. But poor JRK, dug herself a hole with that one.

I'm not thinking again. ASS ship would be Albus/Scorpius correct.
