The first thing Kurobane Harukaze noticed the minute they stepped into the club was the overwhelming scents. Each human's individual aroma assaulted his nose, their blood a titillating temptation he was hard pressed to ignore. Never mind the perfumes and colognes, or even those that hadn't bathed in Heaven only knew how long, it was the scent of blood, lively and zipping along throughout each body that made him want to do one of two things: turn around and walk right back out the door, or scoop up the first passing stranger and have him or her for dinner.
He could do neither.
Bane hesitated by the door, gaze locked on the wall yards away. He always found it hard to be amongst a body of mortals, but never more so than tonight. The tablets had long since lost their ability to fully satiate his hunger and he wondered if they were like a drug where a man could develop a tolerance for them making him need to take more and more to achieve the same effect. He had arrogantly said fuck that shit and immediately stopped taking the pills.
He hadn't fully regretted the decision until tonight, because coming face-to-face with the truth-that he wanted to feed from either Saeki or his mortal-he had decided that the pills were a poor substitute, especially after tasting the ambrosia that sped through Saeki's veins. Besides, they never really killed his hunger anyway. Now, he was realizing that was likely a mistake and that he probably should have taken at least one before venturing on the date that had him tied up in knots.
It wasn't his first outing with the human by his side, but oddly enough it felt like it. Coupled with his realization that hell came in the form of a club packed full of mortals and you had one very nervous vampire that reached hesitantly for Zaizen's hand right then. Now if he could find his voice as easily as he did the fingers he wove his through so tentatively, so sure that hand would be snatched away if his human had come to his senses since leaving the dorm and realized he was a lot safer far removed from the vampire whose gums tingled, his fangs aching to taste the feast of blood available to him in the club.
Zaizen Hikaru had walked into the club not really knowing what to expect and had his trademark bored expression on his face. It wasn’t like he had the chance to come to the clubs near the school before dating a vampire and given his young age, he hadn’t really tried to sneak into one before either. Then why had he agreed to go to one when his boyfriend asked him out besides curiosity? He loved music and enjoyed dancing so it was a no-brainer to see what was played at clubs but combine that with his apathetic view toward rules and curfews and you got his motivation.
Now, inside the club, he was immediately hit by the loud thumping music and surrounded by the crowd of swaying bodies. Zaizen was still taking it all in with his less than impressed expression in place when he felt his hand grabbed by another. There wasn’t a need to look and confirm it was Bane’s, he just knew it would be his vampire staking a claim on him before anyone got the idea to swoop down and snag him. “Not bad,” his critique started soon after that as his green gaze continued the sweep of the place.
“Music is pretty danceable and not entirely crappy either. But I bet you aren’t a dancer, are you?” Zaizen finally turned his attention back on Bane and with a quirk of his head and a small playful grin added, “I bet you’re a wallflower. I remember you at the ball after all.”
"I danced at the ball." Bane pointed out remembering the dance he had stolen from a very unwilling aristocrat and the kiss he had pilfered before walking off. It had been his only dance, but he had danced!
Scowling slightly, he shot Zaizen a feigned look of hurt. "I can dance better than most, thank you." Then as if he intended to prove his point (though only he knew it was to rub in the fact that Zaizen was taken when a rather brave fellow started to head their way.), he led the human toward the throng of bodies moving in time with the music on the crowded floor before them.
It shouldn’t have mattered that Bane had danced with someone else at the ball when it took place long before their first kiss but it still rubbed Zaizen the wrong way. He had a feeling it was his competition that had warranted the dance and again that shouldn’t have mattered since the vampire had offered to dance with him before the ball but because of his DJ job that night, Zaizen had turned the offer down. It didn’t matter; he was the one with Bane now.
Before he realized what was happening thanks to his thoughts, he was in the middle of the crowd and pretty much being taunted into action to show his own worth on the floor. Grinning as he found the beat easily and started to sway in time as a warm-up, Zaizen accepted the challenge to dance with his boyfriend. “Show me what you’ve got, boyfriend,” yes, he did have to drill home the fact one more time that they were a couple no matter where Bane’s tempted gaze fell.
Bane perked a brow over the labeling, a grin growing when he realized Zaizen was doing exactly what he had done with the grabbing of hand, though his human chose to use words instead of a physical stamping that saw their expected company plastering on a determined look. He watched the young man that had started approaching come to a halt just on the edges of the dance floor, a mulish expression settling on his face.
The man intended to wait them out and probably approach his somewhat boyfriend the minute they left the floor. Bane smirked inward knowing he wouldn't allow for anyone making off with what was his, ever. "You should watch what you say to me, kitten." He pointed out as he too slipped easily into swaying with the music, body adjusting to the rhythm and beat that carried to his ears within seconds.
"Such words could get you into trouble before the night is over." He teased, eyes darkening with the memory of what skills he still had yet to unveil for his lover and somewhat boyfriend.
Zaizen, true to his nature, still hadn’t seen his pursuer and likely wouldn’t until the man tapped on his shoulder and even then it was debateable. His attention only ever fell on what was entertaining with a mild awareness of what was going on around him and to him in that moment, Bane was the only thing worth his attention. “I never censor myself and I fail to see how my words would land me in trouble,” in this particular instance anyway as his comments had earned him some raised tempers and threats of harm in the past.
"Then I'll just have to show you, won’t I?" Bane asked with a wicked light in deep brown eyes, his hand once again reaching for the human to capture and tug him close. It was only when Zaizen was just inches away from him that he did much more than stake his claim with a taking of hand. He dipped his head to steal a fleeting kiss that ended with the scraping of fangs over a plush bottom lip, his tongue flicking out to soothe the tiny marking with a single swipe seconds later.
Kisses, while he believed they should be hard and deep, were so unsatisfying when they barely began only to end. However, he could deal with the unrest within that screamed for him to thoroughly plunder the DJ's sassy mouth as it got his point across to the human that looked like he was settling in to wait until hell froze over, just to have the chance to ask his boyfriend to dance.
As for the subtle dare he heard beneath those words still ringing in his ears-he'd have to do something about that too, but not before he enjoyed the dance he had finally gotten with his lover who had never gotten around to sharing one with him at the academy's ball thanks to his duty of playing the role of DJ that night.
While that kiss was completely unexpected it also wasn’t given who he was dating. Even with his own actions of public kissing that started their relationship weeks ago, Zaizen wasn’t too fond of public displays of affection, recalling the faces and disgusted comments made to a couple guys that were on his junior high school tennis team with him. Some actions and fluffy names and faces at each other really weren’t needed for spectators-especially him. But when Bane did it to him, he couldn’t help but melt a little and ease up on his standards. The guy was hot, so sue him for being shallow and contradictive when it came to the vampire.
“Quit boasting and just dance,” Zaizen rolled his eyes at the comment and acted like the kiss didn’t make him the happiest man in the room. He was on a ‘real date’ with a hot vampire that could be with someone else but ended up with him, so what wasn’t to enjoy? If the music went sour, Zaizen was certain to have an answer to that but for the moment it was all good.
"We're going to do a lot more than just dance, before we leave." Bane warned as a smirk snuck out of hiding. Already busy plotting his intent for the moment they left the dance floor, he didn't notice the three women off to his side huddled together sneaking looks at the two of them every so often, nor the giggles that fluttered out from behind the hands that covered whispering mouths as the females gossiped with one another, though at least two of them were silently gathering their nerve to approach the two teens that looked so wrapped up in each other as they danced.
Yes, his human was definitely in for a lesson on why it wasn't smart to dare him in any manner, and he thought dragging him back to a booth during the next song would be a great place to start.
“Oh, you think so?” Zaizen had no idea what Bane was planning but it likely wasn’t too decent or something he would normally approve of. He’d worry more about that when they got to it. For the time being, he had a hot boyfriend to dance with and he strongly believed this wouldn’t be a regular thing so there was a lot of enjoyment to get out of the moment. Although, they could have private dancing in one of their rooms but that didn’t seem to be quite the same and Zaizen would bet his laptop and iPod that it would always end in sex which sort of defeated the purpose of the innocent dancing to relieve sexual tension-or build them up more depending on the dance and who it was with.
"I know so." Bane retorted with a sly grin. The night would be interesting if for no other reason than his new intention to corrupt his almost innocent human who was still far too innocent, despite his newly acquired un-virgin state thanks to the night that saw him stealing (not that he truly stole anything, since Zaizen had given himself over to him) away his virginity in one area at least.
Now, the vampire was determined to steal every other first the human still had looming with the ruthless intent of one that wanted to always be remembered. When he was done his mortal would not be able to walk into a club without remembering the night a brown-eyed vampire jacked his dick in a booth with a dozen couples scattered at various places around them. He would also never forget the moment of being imprisoned against a wall in the alley outside, crowded against brick and mortar while hands, mouth, teeth, and tongue roamed marking a sensitized trek over every inch of skin he could touch.
His human was just lucky he was at least behaving enough not to drag him into the restroom at some point, because if he did he'd be slamming the door shut, pushing him up against it and fucking him senseless right there. He wouldn't show the least bit of concern for the men that lined up outside it banging, snarling to be let in because they needed to piss either. In fact, the idea of anyone catching onto what they were doing would be all the more reason to do it since the thrill and adrenaline rush would be insanely exhilarating.
“Uh-huh,” Zaizen was grinning and having a good time as he swayed in time against Bane’s body so their comments back and forth were light and teasing. He didn’t know what the vampire was planning but had an idea it wasn’t going to be something expected or innocent and depending on his mood, there was a good chance it would be shot down. Wondering what one perverted mind could come up with while in a crowded club, Zaizen almost missed the group of ladies that were moving in closer with the intention to talk to the men and get dances out of them. He wasn’t one to mingle and be social on a regular day but to be with his boyfriend on a date; Zaizen really wasn’t going to be in the mood to deal with other people.
Bane was in the process of dragging his somewhat boyfriend close for the theft of another kiss when he felt the tug on his arm, the sound of a low pitched "Hi!" not long to follow. Oddly enough, he still found dealing with the female populace a trying chore, so it wasn't a happy vampire that met the excited and expectant gaze of the young woman smiling up at him and asking for the next dance as the song they danced to started to crawl to a stop.
Then there was the very real threat of another stealing Zaizen away as his boyfriend was accosted right then by a happy squeal of, "You're so cute!" Cute? Not! His boyfriend was hot and sexy, with only the occasional lapse into cuteness thrown in, but to tell the annoying wench that he had to untangle himself from the girl that had latched onto his arm while merrily chattering in his ear. A feat easier thought than done.
Zaizen levelled an unapologetic and untamed glare at the girl that came up to him and had the nerve to compliment him and ruin his alone time with Bane. “To say the least but I’d like to think I lean more toward the hot category,” he had quite the ego when he wanted to unleash it and now only proved that point. The next move he made was to wave the girl away both physically and with words expressing his disinterest in dancing with anyone other than his boyfriend and then turned his attention to the man in question and the other Siren attempting to lure him away.
He never would have thought he was the jealous sort but now that he knew Bane was easily tempted; everyone seemed to be competition to Zaizen. Honestly, he hated that feeling which only made him dislike that girl even more. Without a word, he started plucking her fingers with nicely polished nails off Bane’s arm and glared for all he was worth before the vampire found himself pulled into a kiss that was quite clearly used as a means of marking territory.
“We won’t be dancing with anyone else tonight.”
Bane was torn between trying to decide if Zaizen was oddly cute or incredibly sexy in that moment when jealous possessiveness reared its head, but then had his decision made for him when hands pulled him down and lips stole his into a kiss clearly meant to claim him for all to see.
Definitely hot, he thought as he slipped his arms around his mortal and hefted him up off the floor, a low order for Zaizen to hang on mumbled into the mouth he opened for with willing eagerness that the ladies beside them found morbidly shocking as well as titillating. "You heard my boyfriend, get lost!" he growled for the two females, not at all concerned about catering to their feminine sensibilities when his arms were full of his somewhat boyfriend and the promise of prolonging that kiss hovered on the horizon. So that when the new song that started to play was such a slow and sensual kaleidoscope of sounds he couldn't help but be seduced by the desire to draw his human closer and lead him into a dance that left two bodies plastered together, hands roaming down a slender back to fit to the slope of Zaizen's smaller back, and a vampire nibbling on a bottom lip he was more than a little fascinated with.
Zaizen didn’t protest at the way he was held and carted around and definitely didn’t mind how close they were pressed to one another as the music changed. How could he when the women were left speechless somewhere else that wasn’t close to enough to annoy him and Bane had said aloud that they were dating? “So, was that just an act or do you actually consider me your boyfriend now? No sort of or kind of but full-fledged boyfriend?” He knew it was silly to want to hear it said again and to hope they were a real couple now but he couldn’t help it. That was probably a good sign he was starting to like the idea of being with this vampire a bit more than he had first thought he would but he was convinced he’d still come out of the end of this unscathed since he was young and knew love couldn’t be that real just yet.
Besides, he had competition to beat the ass of and that somehow seemed to motivate and strengthen his crush.
"Hmm?" Bane questioned softly, head dropping for his brow to rest against Zaizen's as they moved in time with the song that filled the club. "If was just an act will you then set out to change it to a reality?" he asked curiously.
He wanted to tell Zaizen that no matter what one chose to call a rose that flower would still be a rose, so even if he tacked on sort of or kind of to the term boyfriend it didn't make him any less his boyfriend, but to say so would deny him the opportunity to tease the human he held close much to the annoyance of the two women watching them from the edge of the dance floor.
Zaizen wondered right then if Bane had just been saying it to agree with what was said and help get rid of the women and debated over how to reply. Would he continue to work at keeping the vampire’s interest solely on him or would he just walk away? The smart answer was to just walk away and stop wasting his time but the attraction was still too strong and he was too curious over whether or not he was awesome enough to keep such a man.
“I already said I would given I don’t like to lose and you already admitted I’m in a tight race with someone else,” no, he wasn’t above reminding Bane of his words that almost ended their relationship recently especially since they were his motivation most of the time now.
"Given how I told you everything then what makes you think I'd begin playing a game with you now by putting on an act?" His human could be so dense for someone so full of genius.
Bane dragged a hand lazily up Zaizen's back. His fingers staking claim to each contour and dip of spine as they went. "Besides, what does it matter what words come before the term boyfriend when that word is still spoken and still means the same thing?" To drive his point home, he shifted his head finally allowing lips to seek out the ear they brushed against.
"You're still my boyfriend, no matter what words may accompany that one in a sentence, are you not?"
“Unless the word that accompanies it is ex,” Zaizen knew that could be concerned a low-blow but he felt that nibbling on his ear was cheating and Bane deserved it. Anyway, it was the truth. If they went with Bane’s logic, then they would always be boyfriends regardless if one wanted to break up and the other turned into the psycho boyfriend. That was another word linked with boyfriend in the negative but he didn’t voice that one out loud.
For now, Zaizen would take what he got since he was having fun and liked the way those larger hands moved over his body and so easily brought him pleasure. Once again, he was congratulating himself on being bold and taking what he wanted and starting them off on this path.
"So there are one or two exceptions to the rule." Bane admitted with a soft laugh a moment later, the heat of his breath blown against the ear he flicked a tongue over. "But other than that, a rose by any other name, Hikaru." Again, he felt he shouldn't have to teach such a concept to the human in his arms as the mortal was more than just a little smart, but perhaps he was wrong. Which meant perhaps there would be future lessons he would have to share? The thought wasn't altogether displeasing for the vampire who nuzzled his way downward, seeking out the neck he had yet to ever sink his fangs into.
“You’re quoting Shakespeare?” But with that mouth on his ear, that didn’t seem all that pressing, odd, or funny and Zaizen quickly forgot about it. He also didn’t mind their conversation so much anymore and let it drift off with Bane getting the last word for once as they could only cover the same topic so many times in the circle they kept travelling. Honestly, what did it matter? They were together and as far as he could tell they had both agreed to only see each other even if there were temptations around and that was the main point behind the boyfriend title.
"Only partially, and only because it fits." He admitted. Not that Bane was admitting to anything else, since he certainly was not going to tell Zaizen he had read more than his fair share of Shakespeare.
"Now, if we've fully ascertained that I do consider you my boyfriend, do you think said boyfriend would be averse to accompanying me to a booth so we can inquire about a drink? And then perhaps might allow his completely perverted boyfriend the privilege of nibbling on his neck while we wait for that refreshment to arrive?"
Zaizen knew better than to question the nibbling to his neck as that would ruin his good time and spoil the night so for once, he held his tongue. It didn’t happen often but he wisely chose when it would and right then was one of them. Once again, he was a teenage boy that hoped to have sex that night and wouldn’t ruin that chance with an argument on a sensitive subject.
“Yeah, we can go sit, get a drink, and you can even nibble since you are my perverted boyfriend,” he smiled at getting a chance to toss the title out there again and grabbed Bane’s hand to lead them to a booth he saw open up as the people got up and the glasses on the table were empty.
Bane slid into the booth first once they reached it and tugged Zaizen in after him. He told himself to behave, until after someone came to take their order but found his will to do so severely lacking. "Come're," he murmured huskily. His hand rose to motion to the spot directly beside him, letting his human know there was entirely too much space separating them and he wanted something done about it.
He could already feel the softness of Zaizen's skin beneath his tongue and lips, craved the chance to nuzzle the lively pulse that leapt there. Now, if he could just get his mortal close enough to let him play as he wanted then he'd be a happy vampire, if not a somewhat tormented one as he knew his desire to bite the tempting spot wouldn't remain quiet.
Zaizen didn’t have any problems following that order since it matched perfectly his desire to move in closer to Bane. Scooting down the bench until he was nearly in the vampire’s lap-though he wouldn’t give the privilege of him in a lap away so easily in public-the young music lover scowled at the table and began pushing the empty bottles and glasses to the end of the table for the server to collect them. “Is this a normal hang out for you?” It was a random question he didn’t think to ask earlier when they arrived but now seemed like a good time to find out, especially since he was enjoying the music and was starting to consider coming back again in the future.
"I've been here once or twice," Bane said with a small frown for the attention that was diverted from him for a miniscule bit of time. "And as long as you don't have any complaints about it we'll be back."
Oh to hell with it, he was tired of waiting and thought it was a damn miracle he had been patient that long. Bane shifted in the seat that they shared, hands rising to feather his fingers over the side of his boyfriend's neck where the pulse that drew him danced still with the lively beat that told him his lover was well and that no sickness was hidden within. "Damn," he hissed softly, gaze dawn to the place where fingers rested lightly rubbing over the pulse that drew him. He didn't know why he was hesitating to gravitate to the neck he wanted to nibble on and scrape his fangs over but the fear of hearing Zaizen say he was only wanted as a source of food might have stayed his intent to thoroughly enjoy himself right then.
“Not here,” Zaizen turned his head away from Bane and moved out of the grasp that held him so softly. He couldn’t say for certain what was being thought right then and he really couldn’t believe Bane would want to feed on him there in a club but he did get that feeling with the look shining in brown eyes and the fingers that had been on his neck. Oh hell, he had better clarify that before he was left alone in a club. “I don’t think you would but you know I would let you in private.” That sounded better, especially as it was the truth but who knew what the grumpy guy he called a boyfriend would take that as.
"I wouldn't, especially not here." Bane verified with a frown. He missed the feel of warm skin beneath his fingertips and having Zaizen so close he only needed to shift around on the seat little to wrap him in his arms, not that he couldn't do that still. But he took the hint with Zaizen's retreat and allowed his hands to fall to his sides.
"Though, I gotta say that nibbling on your neck seems like a great idea right now." He teased lightly, choosing to laugh instead of letting the loss get to him.
If his boyfriend was a human, Zaizen wouldn’t have thought twice on the declaration beyond being flattered. As it was, he still had the slight feel of being a meal. He knew that wasn’t true since there was the sex as well. Okay, again he knew Bane wanted him for more than sex and blood, because who wouldn’t? So there really wasn’t a reason to keep cock-blocking like he was and let his boyfriend back into his personal bubble he usually hated having people in.
“I guess that wouldn’t be so bad.”
Bane stilled, something in his boyfriend's face and the tone of his voice reaching through the haze of need he felt rising. Despite the near invitation those words could have been, it seemed so much like his boyfriend was not really keen on the idea.
"You only guess?" he tried to tease, choosing to hide the unease he felt behind a playful smile and a tug on Zaizen's hair.
"Then how about you nibble on me a while, until your guess becomes a certainty?"
Honestly, Zaizen wasn’t sure he wanted to do that. It wasn’t that he didn’t like Bane all of a sudden or panicked about doing such a thing in public. It just didn’t feel right. Something between them was off and he wasn’t sure why. What did he say this time? He was always being told he said too much but never felt it was anything wrong when it was the truth or his opinion. What happened to the good times they were having and even where he had said his perverted boyfriend could nibble on his neck without guessing about it?
“I recall us agreeing on you nibbling on my neck before we sat down,” he gave a small grin in return as he tried to find their comfort zone again and return to enjoying their night out.
Ah, hell. Did Zaizen even realize how cute he was when he did that little half grin thing?
Bane stared almost enthralled by the sight, heart doing a small flip and stomach dropping before doing a crazy dance he couldn't fathom the cause of. "Yeah," he muttered reaching out to fist his hand in his boyfriend's shirt and giving it a small tug to pull Zaizen off balance and closer to him.
"M'gonna take a rain check on that. Kinda got distracted by something else." He announced, fascinated by how easily that small grin could grab his attention so thoroughly and more than willing to steal those lips into a kiss.
He wanted to ask what was distracting Bane but got his answer before the question was even formed when lips were on his. Zaizen didn’t mind, even with the brief flash of shock at his boyfriend moving so quickly to steal what he wanted. It didn’t take long for him to fall in step and enjoy the public kiss, just like he enjoyed every other one before it. If people didn’t like it, tough-no one was making them look in their direction. Anything else, however, he might be one of those people rolling his eyes and turning away in disgust. Some things were fun in public but others were better with just the two of them.
"Dance with me," Bane suddenly demanded against the lips he nipped, hands shifting and gliding along every surface they could reach. His touch made a mockery of his request as each touch told a story of exactly what he wanted to do and it had nothing to do with going out on that dance floor. However, if he continued to sit there with Zaizen so close he'd be doing a lot more than just kissing, especially as his body was already leaping to life and demanded the attention of the human whose scent surrounded the vampire tempting him.
Zaizen gave Bane an odd look that probably said more than his words could. “We were just dancing and you wanted to sit,” his boyfriend was annoying sometimes with his back and forth desires and random decisions that didn’t always agree with what was just said or done. Well, whatever; he preferred the dancing to sitting and trying to converse over the thumping music anyway. Shrugging, the brunette slid free of the bench and stood at the end of the table waiting to be followed back into the crowd.
"Yeah, which was a good idea, until jacking you off or asking you to get under the table and give me head started to seem like winners, too." Bane told Zaizen as he nudged him toward the dance floor, a hand rising to pull his boyfriend to him when the thriving beat faded to be replaced by a lulling melody.
"Of course, if you want to…" he murmured with a wicked grin for the mortal he looked down at right then, obviously more than willing to change his plans yet again if the promise of being touched by those talented hands and equally talented mouth was a possibility.
“Not in public,” he had some morals after all. “Maybe when we get back to the campus I’ll consider it,” but right then, Zaizen was happy with the dancing and tuning out the stares they attracted from some of the people in the crowd. He really didn’t care if they found them hot-which he would of course agree with-or weirded out by two young men dancing together since he was having fun and Bane seemed totally one hundred percent into him. That was the most important thing to the human that found himself in a slightly squishy moment of ignoring the way the beat made him want to move to cling a little closer to his boyfriend and rest his head against a broad chest.
"If I didn't think you would convince yourself that all I want from you is sex then the odds are that I'd probably lock you away in my room with me and never let you leave my bed." Bane teased as hands fell to secure a hold around slender hips, nestling him in closer to the human he guided in the dance he timed perfectly with the music.
He hated dancing but that didn't mean he couldn't. In fact, he was a damn good dancer no matter what type of music was playing, but maybe just this once he didn't find it as distasteful as he normally did. "Look at them," he muttered with a tilt of head to the females that cast sly glances their way every so often and even the guys that while a few wore masks of disgust a few others watched them with avid interested. "I bet a quarter of them are already thinking about approaching you for a dance."
Zaizen wouldn’t blame them for checking him out but didn’t feel the need to visually verify what was going on. He was content in their dance and having attention on each other. “Considering we’ve had real conversations that don’t end in naked time, I think I can stop assuming you’re with me for sex,” he still wasn’t going to believe this was the relationship he would be in forever and it would be smooth sailing and other happy thoughts but it was what he wanted for the moment and believed Bane liked him as a person and not just a sex partner.
“So if you want to leave soon because you hate dancing and want to get me alone, I might be okay with that.”
"Maybe," Bane agreed though when he looked into green eyes thoughts of leaving flew from his head. It wasn't often that he actually took Zaizen out for a date and although his libido clambered begging to drag the human to a private room so he could taste every inch of him in a million different ways, he wasn't about to ruin the night for his boyfriend.
"For now, I think I'll enjoy my dance and lord it over those suckers that I'm with you and they aren't," he smugly stated with brown eyes dancing with laughter. "Then later we'll get you a soda or something and head in." Or somewhere else, he thought as he guided them into the next turn. The night was still young in his terms and he still had hours of it yet to enjoy while in Zaizen's company. His body could behave for a change and so would he because for once he was going to enjoy an actual date with his boyfriend that didn't get cut short by his stupid hormones.
And that sounded like one hell of a plan to him.
