Maybe the author would say such things in a situation like this, but I don't appreciate her portraying me as a clueless and naive woman.
The captain, as he preferred to be called, would keep you locked in his cabin all day as his personal slave, your only deed was to satisfy his lusty needs, although you were certain there were better women suited to the job.
Exactly what does this author mean by better women? This sentence doesn't settle well with me.
It amazes me how I can go from feeling shamed and lowly after being raped to feeling fine and dandy just a little while later. I reprimand the author for writing such a rotten tale. It made me baby Barbossa cry.
