I'm hoping for the sake of my own peace of mind that if I actually looked at the rest of the fic this segment would make more sense, but am not game to look. Yet.

(I am also ignoring the little but clear voice in my head telling me it won't make any more sense if I go look.)

Okay. So. Forgive me if I'm missing something really obvious here, but why the hell was Jack kidnapping the Sue? And why, once he'd kidnapped her, did he randomnly kiss her?

And for goodness sake! My first kiss was not magical, it was just plain wierd. I imagine that if it had taken place at gunpoint, it would have been even less magical, and would have progressed from wierd to revolting.

Oh, yeah. And this?

She put her arms on her waist and felt a pistol in her dress she had put in hours ago, and then she felt two bottles and pulled them out.

I'm afraid to ask where in the dress she's storing this stuff, let alone how it fits. What does she have, like a Mary Poppins Dress or something? That can fit inexhaustible supplies in it?
