Blackbeard's sword?
A few days ago, National Geographic wrote about the recently found artifact.
A sword hilt with the antler handle and gilded guard was just found in the Queen Anne's Revenge wreck (I wrote about this archaeological site here).
The sword could belong to Edward 'Blackbeard' Teach, but as well it could be only part of the pirates' loot. One more interesting detail: there are French fleurs-de-lis on the pommel, and the QAR had been previously known as French ship Concorde, before Blackbeard seized her.
