A spoon full of sugar

My parents are spending a good chunk of money on my us (Becky, myself, Maeg) for Christmas this year. It literally blows me away that my parents still buy us gifts like we're twelve years old. It's pretty neat.

I think that next year, I will ask them to use what they would normally spend on me toward gifts for children and families in need. I'm not sure I can convince my mother put my entire 'gift share' toward this, but it would be wonderful if she would contribute at least half while keeping the other half (since they need it, too).

Even though it would be great to get a new hoodie or a new video game, I am old enough to buy my own goodies. And old enough to go without them if I cannot afford them immediately. I kind of want my friends to do the same, but since 90% of them classify as 'needy', they should just keep the money. (<3!)

Yes.

A new leaf is in order.
