I don't like posting online, and I like less telling people to see plays I am in, but I make an exception for both in this case.
There is a show in Stage 3 at the 14th Street Playhouse called Bald Grace. It's about the first girl Irish pirate. The show is very good, but it needs help. The sad thing is that the folks in charge have had a terrible time marketing-wise, and nobody knows about the show and their crowds have been small.
That said: On Monday 30th if you come to the 8 o'clock show and talk like a pirate you get five dollars off the cost of admission. If you come DRESSED AS A PIRATE you get in FREE. I know a few folks who have pirate costumes, and I would really like to help out this play by having one night with a full house.
And if that house could be full of my pirate-clothed friends, then so much the better. In fact, the few of you who still have me linked as a friend...please post some version of this so the folks that would be interested will get the memo. I know there is a large contingent of people out there who are always looking for excuses to dress like a pirate, and this would be a great excuse.
I'm not in a whole lot of the show, so Dani...if you go...you won't have to suppress the gag reflex for long.
What else you gonna do on a monday?
thanks,
adam
