Title: A snakes game
Pairing: one sided OroAnko
Rating: M
Summary: How far will Anko go for her beloved Sensei?
“Would you do that for me, Anko?”
The young girl sent her master a highly insecure glance, unsure of what to do now - whether she should please her teacher or listen to her instincts. She squirmed in anxiousness, searching for help in the yellow snake-like eyes she so adored.
The eyes became small slits that inspected her pupils.
“Will you?”
He obviously insisted on her doing it even though she shivered in fear.
“Hai … Orochimaru-sensei …!”
She didn’t know what made her say it, but now that she agreed she noticed that her voice showed much more courage than she actually felt.
Orochimaru sat in his laboratory on his swivel chair, a pleased look on his face.
“Good child, aren’t you?”
He pointed onto the floor, earning a confused look from his protégé.
“It would be better if you sat down, Anko.”
The girl didn’t like the overconfident glance that her sensei gave her. Slowly, with shaky legs, she sank onto her knees, as if the heaviness of her decision pushed her down.
Anko looked at the stone-floor and thought. And thought, thought about the consequences of her actions.
She was so occupied with the fear her mind tried to fool her into that she didn’t notice that Orochimaru pointed at something in front of her. Not until he called her up, impatiently.
Stiff with fear, she did what was expected of her and took it out.
She eyed it with disgust and felt nausea coming up. She couldn’t, she just couldn’t, no matter how much she adored her teacher and wanted to do everything for him.
“Anko, don’t disappoint me now, will you? You know what punishment awaits you if you don’t do it …”
Anko just stared, frightened to death by now, and her body simply refused to move, just the hand that held it that shook unstoppably.
Orochimaru smirked at her intimidated form, leaned forward, and clasped his cold hand around her so very small one.
She didn’t move but he led her, helping her against her will.
“Don’t be scared …”
The girl gulped - audibly - one last time, breathing in and out, but the touch of the man and his soothing voice made her will to please Orochimaru strong. So strong it started to take over her instinctive fear.
She leaned a bit down and swallowed it.
“Good girl …” The master patted her head satisfied.
The next moment Anko threw the spoon away and her breath sped up dangerously. She held her stomach hard, hit it and tried to puke out the already gulped liquid.
Orochimaru sat back in his chair. He had to admit he liked to watch the view of his overly faithful student sweating, fighting and dying, wondering if she survived the venom.
