Silly Grace / Who's Left?

Feel free to click on it for the whole pic, but this is probably the best part. I basically worked on this one so that I could get it out of the way. That's a bit unseemly for me, especially since I would ask myself before I worked on something, "Would I work on this if time was not a limitation?" I had to let that go because I started applying it to everything & that tends to whittle away the unfamiliar. Things get really boring, really fast that way. Eventually, I realized if time wasn't a limitation, everything would be worth the trouble. Now I'm back to a list, although there are a few things that are standing out, both in terms of the inferred ideas & the neat fucking shit it might look like. Hence, the silliness below - but it gave grace to something I didn't like before.

When Carlin died, Mike & I asked each other & ourselves that question, "Who's left? Cosby? Murphy? Martin & Williams!?!" Ugh. I'm a fan of each in moderation, but it looks like we've reached that point where we have to move on to the next great comics.

Hicks & Hedberg are dead, but Mencia isn't - that's unjust. I'm a fan of Rock where some aren't, although I anchor this mostly on his first special. Cook's fallen off & Seinfeld was better at the TV show. Dmetri, Attell, & Oswalt need at least another good show. Louis CK is a personal fave, but his TV show was gamey. Tosh is gaining speed & absolutely worth seeing every time. Gaffigan & Chappelle are beasts.

I ask of you: Who's left? & also, Who's next?
