Momoshiro: *Momo was sat on a bench near the edge of the park, his pup, Kaoru, was off and running chasing butterflies* ... *leaning back against the bench, Momo looked up at the sky as he waited for Hazue to show up, idly wondering what it was all about*
Hazue: *Hazue walks up the path and spots Kaoru. Smiling for the first time in what seems forever he goes over and scratches him behind the ears.*
Hazue: *Seeing Momo-chan waiting for him, he hurriedly walks up to him with his head bowed*
Hazue: Hi Momo-chan, thanks for waiting...
Momoshiro: *at the voice, Momo jerked upright in surprise, laughing sheepishly* Ah-ha... no problem! Kaoru was busy anyway... *the pup had followed Hazue and now sat at their feet, tail wagging happily*
Hazue: I can't believe you named him after my brother. *Hazue laughs a little at the thought* They're nothing alike!
Momoshiro: No, this little guy's way nicer! *laughing, he reaches out to ruffle the fur on top of Kaoru's head, the pup yipping happily at the attention* Call it a twist of fate?
Hazue: *Smiles before taking a big breath* I kinda... did something I shouldn't have done... and then found some things out I wasn't supposed to know.... and then said some things I shouldn't have said.... *looks down embarrassed at the ground and sits next to Kaoru, trying to disappear.
Momoshiro: *blinks a few times as he tries to figure out what you've just said, and then gives you a gentle smile* Start at the beginning... and not so many gaps this time. What did you do? And what did you find out?
Hazue: *Turns a dark shade of red* I... uh... lkdatmybrtherscomtrandfndothesgay...
Momoshiro: ... *his own cheeks turned a delicate shade of pink, he'd not understand half of what was said to him, but he'd heard enough...* Alright... and that... that makes you angry?
Hazue: *Keeping his head down.* I don't think I was angry... at first I was just... confused.... I mean... fshuuu... I don't know anyone who's like THAT. *tries to steel his nerves and looks up at Momo-chan and the whole story pours out* It's my brother... so it can't be all bad... but... I read some of his journal and I saw that he was dating INUI-SAN and he was CHEATING on my brother… and then I didn’t
Hazue: *breath*
Hazue: know what to do or what to say and Nii-chan would KILL me if he find out and I was mad at Inui-san for doing that to my brother and mad at Nii-san for not telling me and…. *stops to catch his breath*
Hazue: Now Nii-chan isn't mad at Inui-san anymore and Inui-san was being really mean to me and.... I don't know anymore!
Momoshiro: *sits and waits, patiently listening as he strokes Kaoru, a frown creasing his brow when you get to the "cheating" part* What if you're wrong? *gives you a curious look* If Kaidoh's okay with Inui-senpai, then what if you got it wrong? Inui-senpai... he's not the type to cheat. And I know he cares about your brother. He does.
Hazue: That's not the point! *getting frustrated*
Hazue: Fshuu... I know Nii-chan can take care of himself... and if he likes Inui-san... than that's okay too... It's just weird...
Hazue: It's embarrassing! I can't even look at them now without thinking...
Hazue: and that's just weird!
Momoshiro: *chuckles softly and gives a little shrug* Because they're guys? Just... don't think about it!
Momoshiro: He's your brother, and it's Inui-senpai! Not much different. They didn't just... suddenly chance because you know they're together now. *laughs* Look, it's like this; they like each other, you should be happy for them. It'll be weird, I know. But... it's not bad. Right?
Momoshiro: *grins a little lopsidedly, teasingly* Or did I get it wrong again?
Hazue: *blush* No... you're right... you're always good at this... *gets up and sits next to Momo getting serious* but now I'm mad at Inui-san for another reason...
Hazue: and it's really dumb... and my own fault...
Momoshiro: *sits back when Hasue sit next to him, Kauro jumpping up to it at his side and rest his head in Momo's lap* Alright... what's the reason? What do you think you did?
Hazue: *sighs and pets Kaoru as he continues* Since I was really uncomfortable and upset after I found out, I kinda... avoided them both... Then Inui-san started thinking that I hated him... which was kinda true, but...
Hazue: He messaged me that we needed to talk. He basically forced me to talk to him and then accused me of not caring about my brothers feelings!
Hazue: I think I just made things worse, but he shouldn't have talked to me like he was trying to interrogate me!
Momoshiro: I think... I think when someone worries about someone else enough, they forget everything else and just try to... to fix the problem. *frowns down at the pup who had half squirmed to get into his lap* He shouldn't have done that, no. Shouldn't. But if he thinks you hate him... I can understand why you scared him enough to demand answers.
Hazue: *looks at Momo-chan curiously*
Momoshiro: He cares for you. He messed up, shouldn't have pushed you like that. But... *glances over at Hazue* You might wanna sit them down and talk to them. When you're ready. *smiles a little* They're not monsters, just worried about you... I think.
Hazue: That's the worst part! Fshuu... If I try to talk to them about it, Nii-chan will find out I've been snooping in his computer and KILL me! *genuinely scared* Inui-san might not even want to talk to me now…
Momoshiro: *thinks for a moment or two, then sighs* You could just... say the page was up when you went on the computer? Say yours was acting funny?
Hazue: *laughs half-heartedly* Nii-chan can be an idiot sometimes… but he’s not stupid...
Hazue: I'm going to St. Rudolf soon... and Inui-san is moving in with my family...
Hazue: I don't want to leave like this... I don't want Nii-chan to think that I don't care about him like Inui-san said...
Hazue: I don't want Inui-san to replace me... fshuu...
Momoshiro: All I can say is... risk it. *smiles* He'll be mad and upset, but he sorta already is. I... *sighs softly and slips an arm around your shoulders in a gentle hug* Idiot. He couldn't replace you! You're Kaidoh's brother! He loves you. You know that, right?
Hazue: *smiles* I know...
Hazue: *heaves a big sigh of relief and smiles up at him* Thanks Momo-chan! I really think I needed that...
Hazue: *stands with confidence* Now I know what I need to do!
Momoshiro: *grins widely* Good good, happy to help! *gets to his feet too, Kaoru jumping down to the ground with a happy yip before taking off to get a last run in* You going to be alright now?
Hazue: *nods happily* Yes! Tomorrow Nii-chan and Inui-san are going on a date. Fshuu... It'll be the perfect chance to follow them!
Momoshiro: *freezes, going very pale very quickly* ... Y-your going to follow them...?
Hazue: Yes! It'll be the perfect chance to get used to seeing them together and make sure Inui-san isn't mean to my Nii-chan. Fshuu... I saw in movies that's what brothers are supposed to do!
Momoshiro: *sits down hard, feeling a little light headed* ... Ah ha... Okay... I can't change your mind, can I? *hopeful*
Hazue: *determined* No! I need to be a good brother. Do you wanna come?
Momoshiro: *looks a little embarrassed now as he runs a nervous hand through his hair, finally he sighs and looks up at Hazue uncertainly* ... I'm... sorta already going...
Momoshiro: It's a... double date thing... *flushes*
Hazue: *Eyes go very very wide*
Hazue: You... you're... Momo-chan?
Hazue: I... uh... who are you going with?
Momoshiro: *looks a little unhappy, knowing that his answer won't be well received* ... promise not to freak out on me?
Hazue: Uh... why would I freak out? *looks at Momo-chan confused* I promise...
Momoshiro: *gives a little half-smile* Maybe... because you did when you found out your brother was going out with a guy...?
Hazue: *Eyes go wide for the umpteenth time* You mean... fshuu...
Momoshiro: *winces at Hazue's expression, feeling like a bit of an ass* Yeah... I'm sorry. I didn't wanna just... dump that on you like that. But figure you'd had enough surprises. So... *coughs a little, cheeks seemingly permanently flushed now*
Momoshiro: ... don't know if you know him. He's from Fudomine. Kamio Akira? I... *shrugs helplessly* ... think it was sort of an accident.
Hazue: *Stuttering, trying really hard not fall over* Isn't... he... uh... the one... who... my brother defeated?
Momoshiro: *nods, watching you in increasing worry* ... Yeah... Uhm... Hazue? Maybe you should s-sit down... ?
