The following are my opinions and not in any way official answers:

1) I gave it up 28 1/2 years ago, but when I did drink it was not for the taste. I drank because I liked the way it made me feel. Some of my favorite drinks were the ones where you couldn't taste the alcohol.

2) A lot of folks like horses in general. And ponies are kid sized horses. So, lots of kids want them.
Not me. I wanted a dog.

3) The urge to go out and explore things has been with humans since they started. Not everyone, but there have always been some who have said "I want to go somewhere where no one has been before." There aren't many places on Earth where that is still true.
Personally I'm for it as there is quite a bit to discover up there. And, if we could get into asteroid mining and such, a lot of resources that could be found.

4) When making sandwiches pieces of bread that are cut evenly and consistently are a big help. The market near me cooks some very nice bread as a single loaf and then puts it through a slicing machine once you've asked for it. It is very nice and good quality bread.

1. How did alcohol make you feel? I just get fuzzy, but I don't enjoy that and much prefer being clear-headed! And since I don't like the taste of alcohol, I really only enjoy alcoholic drinks where I can't taste the alcohol. :P

2. What is the appeal of horses, then? I mean, I'd like to ride one, but I'm not sure I want to own one....

3. That makes a lot of sense, thanks!

4. Oooh, it's great that the market near you does that! And the sandwich thing makes tonnes of sense!

Thanks for answering! :D

1) Less constrained. I felt I could do more and not worry about it. That really wasn't a good way to feel, and that's one of the reasons I stopped drinking 18 years 6 months, and 22 days ago. (Yes, I count.) I've never stopped wanting to drink. But, I no longer want that feeling.

2) I'm not sure as I don't see it myself. Back when they were a major mode of transportation I guess it made more sense. Just like many people are very involved with cars now. Maybe it has to do with that?
To me they are big, smelly animals that set off my allergies.
I don't know why people like them.
