I have no words. I didn't cry until I saw Thomas sitting there with a towel over his head and crying. I'm devastated for my Bayern bbs-the Dortmunders have a double, and Mesut & Sami have the La Liga title, but we...are just second best in four freaking competitions. And we traditionally do poorly after tournaments, too. I just can't.
But I'm also angry. What the hell was Jogi thinking with that starting line-up. Why would playing Toni in a position he has pretty much never played before be a good idea? The subs were too little too late. Defence let us down again, once again. I was already resigned by halftime, and unfortunately pretty much every time I become resigned...we lose. :\ At least we got a consolation goal.
Ugh. Now I just hope Italy will beat Spain. I don't want Spain to win three consecutive titles.
