Tucked away in her bed warmly, Amara only now began to stir. Rather than feeling any pain, her body felt incredibly heavy and weak. Numb was a good way to put it. For a moment when she opened her eyes, her vision blurred. Her mind felt fuzzy-- a welcome distraction from the pure mental torture she had been put through only hours before.
Tired, she just felt so very tired.
She thought about sitting up and maybe getting out of bed but her body was just not cooperating. Besides, it felt very nice under the heavy weight of all the blankets on top of her.
