WHO: reddestrobin and iron_liver
WHAT: Tim meets Tony face to face before asking him to design another network.
WHERE: Tony's office
WHEN: After Tim gets a cure, but before he goes back to Seattle.
WARNINGS: Probably not.
SUMMARY: Tim talked to Bucky!Cap about another network and creating the JL Avengers. Since he's closer (geographically) to Tony, he figured he'd see about that first. Unfortunately, he had no idea that his au double works for Tony.

Tim was a little uneasy about meeting Tony face to face without a costume. Peter and Johnny were one thing. Johnny had been a bit of a surprise, but he'd been too out of it to care at the time. Peter...would have been a more conscious decision if things had gone differently. As it stood, though, he was pretty sure things were okay. Bruce would be pissed if and when he found out, but Tim figured he'd deal with it later.

He already wasn't Robin, so what did it matter now?

It was hard not to be a cynic these days.

As he walked up to the building, though, he put on his game face and pushed thoughts of what he was doing wrong and right out of his head. He had to convince Tony Stark to help him build a network. Batman would be an easier win on this - he hoped - but Tony was a completely unknown quantity. Maybe dropping Captain America's name had helped out, maybe it hadn't. He couldn't gauge that yet, anymore than he could gauge Tony's actual interest level.

Besides which, the Captain had mentioned that some people didn't trust Tony Stark. Why not? Was he actually trustworthy? A man named Captain freaking America could trust him, so what was so bad? Then again, what made Captain America trustworthy? Tim guessed he couldn't say, but he felt that he had to give a little if he was going to get anything out of talking to the other people here.

He talked to the secretary at the desk. She gave him a funny look that he didn't understand, but she sent him on his way to the correct office.
