After all the fires have gone out, and
Our universe has passed and gone black,
After Heaven's clouds have darkened to rain, and
Fallen down on your upturned face,
Where will you be, then?
Where are you now?
After passion casts its last death-throe, and
Love and hate were both lost to attack,
After my face has faded to rictus, and
Bared teeth are all you can see,
Where will you be, then?
Where are you now?
After all the clocks become run down and
Hours passed still can't be called back,
After the thunder destroys the last fortress, and
Cloying ashes settle like madness,
Where will you be, then?
Where have we gone?
