Today I FINALLY bought myself a digital camera. Two things spurred me on to do it at last - firstly the fact that almost every single one of my pictures from new years was either blurry or had a double outline/something weird going on with it, or the flash caused it to be overexposed. This was caused mostly by the fact that when my parents too it on holiday, it got dipped into river of some sort. It's been like that for a while, but I've finally got enough money to buy something better! Secondly, when Ant posted his photos on facebook, I realised that photos from his phone were way better quality than ones from my (once-upon-a-time top of the range) digital camera. Which brought home to me just how poor the image quality had got. I ended up spending £150, which isn't bad. It should have been £200, but they knocked 25% off because the only one they had left was the one that had been in the display case. Nobody had used it, nobody had even touched it, so I reckon that's not too bad a deal! So you can expect more photos from me in the future.

I'm addicted to the song "The Prayer" by Bloc Party. I don't usually like their songs, but this one hooked me straight away. It builds up nicely as it goes along, and is sloghtly sinister at the same time. Like it lots.

No particularly interesting news at the moment, other than that flights for America will be booked soon. Oh, and I fully intend to move to Newcastle next Septemer. Harrogate isnt big enough for me any more, and Newcastle is a lovely place. plus I shall be living with some very lovely people. Awesome. Though I do keep getting lectures from my mum about finding a proper job/at least starting a PGCE/doing something that involves my degree. She doesnt seem to understand that as long as I'm happy, then nothing needs to change. Planning for the distant future is where it's at, apparently.
