Man, I really, really want to see a larger version of this image -- to see all of its intricacies and details and all of the work you put into it!
Anyway, let me just start off by saying that I absolutely love this picture! When I saw it, the first thing I thought was "Woah, wacky!" but then I looked at the picture more, and I revised my thought. I decided that a "Wacky and gorgeous!" would be a much more appropriate thought. And because I this picture intrigues me so much and I like it so much, I will dissect it. Because I dissect things that I love. So, for the rest of my comment -- I love this picture! But I'm nitpicky so I'm going to point out practically every little thing that even slightly bugs me. =) So ( ... )

And his neck fascinates me. It perfectly fits the description of "wacky and weird" in how long it is, but yet how beautiful it is. Actually, it realllllyyy reminds me of the famous bust of Nefertiti -- which did the exact same thing with her neck, and it was gorgeous then, too. His shoulders and upper arm are really nice, too -- but his forearm and hand get kind of into a sticky area. The arm doesn't seem to be in quite the right angle for the position to make sense -- it feels like it's simultaneously trying to retreat advance. I'd say it would make the most sense if it just came out with foreshortening. And the hand, I think, most certainly needs more definition. Fingernails at least! Because it's oddly cartoonish for this picture (far moreso than Claude is ( ... )
