Who: Kabaji and Sanada
What: G
When: This evening on the roof
Why: Kabaji apologizes
Kabaji had a talk with Atobe and had tracked down Sanada's location to apologize. He had been holding back while hitting him and made sure he hadn't broken anything. He didn't think Sanada would have bruised so badly. Kabaji hadn't wanted to hurt him in the first place, but Atobe... It wasn't important. Kabaji just needed to try and fix things after going overboard.
Sanada was hiding on the roof, reading for class. He had an ice pack over his eye, but his bruising was much better today. He wondered where everyone was.
Kabaji approached Sanada and cleared his throat. "Sanada."
Sanada jumped out of his skin, and immediately got up and turned, eyeing Kabaji warily. "What."
Kabaji frowned and felt slightly hurt, but understood Sanada's reaction. They had shared a room amiably for several weeks before the incident though. "I came to apologize. I did not mean to hurt you so severely. I have trouble estimating my own strength and how much force to use. But it's no excuse and I am sorry."
"I comprehend why you did it," Sanada said. "I would use a similar tactic if someone treated Seiichi improperly. You do not need to apologize."
"I'm not apologizing for hitting you. Though I am sorry it was so hard." Kabaji frowned. He didn't know what else he could do.
"Aa." Sanada waited. "I am not bothered by how you hit."
"Then why have you still been avoiding our room? I will not attack you again no matter what... It will not happen again." The room was too quiet, no matter that they barely spoke to each other anyway. Kabaji did not want to leave a grudge between them.
Sanada pondered. "I believe that it has little to do with you. In the end, you are simply a reminder of K- Atobe, and I would ... feel worse to think of him at this moment." That about summed it up.
Kabaji nodded. "I understand. But you cannot run away forever. There are very few places to hide for long here."
Sanada merely looked at Kabaji. Whether or not he was hiding was none of Kabaji's business. "If you wish my forgiveness you have it."
"...... Thank you." Kabaji frowned. That wasn't all he came here for. "You should talk to him. Resolve whatever it is that is upsetting both of you." He hated seeing Atobe unhappy and Sanada was obviously in pain as well.
Sanada turned his back. "I understand that you are his friend. Whether or not we resolve matters is still not your prerogative to discuss with me." Sanada hoped he could have his quiet roof back soon.
Kabaji nodded and sighed. He wasn't helping. "I am sorry." He quietly turned and walked back towards the stairwell that led to the roof.
Sanada turned. "I'll be back in the room tonight," he said briefly.
Kabaji's lips twitched, though Sanada couldn't see it. "Aaah..." Then he left the roof to shower before dinner.
