Have you walked the path that goes under Woodlands Parkway? It's a really neat area under the bridges on the path, and Robert's parents' house are pretty much on that path once you're on the other side (and on the other side of the tiny bridge that goes over the ditch). Whenever we take a walk when we're at the 'rents' place, that's how we get to the duck pond.
You know what, that is the exact path I'm referring to! Oddly, I haven't made it far enough to go under the bridge. I walk Cleo and Opal that way, whereas I take the other dogs go the opposite way to the park. Opal is old and fat and Cleo is old and...big. So they usually tire out and are ready to turn around right before we hit the bridge. I'll really have to check it out myself, though! and wow, I never really made the connection of how close Robert's parents really are! Visuals, man. They're the best.
I'm not usually one for the hustle-and-bustle of urban life, but The Woodlands certainly has its conveniences, and is cleverly disguised enough to still offer some form of privacy. But like you, I spent a good part of my childhood just being outside and letting my imagination run free! HOBOS UNITE
Going off coffee was a hard habit to kick, but at least I know it's manageable. The first week was the worst, because of course my body decided to have period cramps on top of the caffeine headache. But tea has been a great buffer, I found

Yeah that path along the school and the ditch before you get to the bridge is gorgeous. You'll have to check out the bridge. It's really cool having that perspective of the parkway, and the way the path goes under it is neat.
I wish we had such a nice path near our apartment. The point we're located at is in the corner, and a bit away from all the nice Woodlands paths. There's some nice spots, but they're more realistic to access by bike.
Bahaha well I guess at least the worst was at the beginning. Seems like it's all downhill from there. MMMmmmm teeeeaaaa. y'know, I don't know if I've had earl grey. That just seems weird.
Whaaaat?? WHAAATTT? You MUST have had fanart of your characters. I just wont believe this. I WILL NOT LET THIS STAND.
So apparently "soon" means a friggin' MONTH, but I finally got around to scanning some character refs for ya! Yes, scanned. Not that they look superfabulousawesome, but at least bigger and brighter, if nothing else. Newfangled contraptions...
