Why Percy had even expected things to go remotely smooth still had him shaking his head in wonderment. Thoughts of dinner parties and civilized, intellegent discussion as the medium of social change were now long gone. Now he merely ran a hand through his hair, adjusting his glasses, which he only wore now if he needed them, and began to write.

In light of recent events I thought it prudent for us to meet. I cannot say with any certainty what the organization plans to do about the Ministry's latest blunder but I can assure you that things have been busy to say the least. Alistair has us wringing information out of every contact we have, so I figured that would be a good enough excuse to discuss our little venture.
Percy
He had to resist tacking 'as insignificant as it seems' onto the last line. Percy did not want to come off as willing to jump from one cause to another, but acknowledged that some would naturally take importance from others. Hermes cooed reassuringly before taking the letter and vanishing along with five more out the window, no doubt bound for more prestigious destinations.
